Livestock Event: National Dairy Show - there's still time to enter

Stall bookings for the Livestock Event’s National Dairy Show have exceeded 200 stalls so far, however with five days to go to the booking deadline, there’s still time to enter.

“The National Dairy Show staged at The NEC, Birmingham on 2 and 3 July and featuring seven different breeds is going from strength to strength. Over 200 stalls have been booked to date, exceeding both last year and 2012 when the National All Breeds Show was held,” comments RABDF livestock co-ordinator, Sian Mercer.

“Exhibitors are discovering that The NEC is one of the best equipped venues in the UK with its temperature controlled environment and first rate handling facilities, stall booking fees are refunded  for all cows exhibited, and they’re paraded to a well-established visitor audience of over 16,000. Furthermore this year, the main ring will take centre stage in the Genetics Zone.

“We are also seeing growing interest from overseas breeders taking advantage of The NEC’s location next to Birmingham International Airport. For example, we will be welcoming the Ayrshire Cattle Society’s World Executive Meeting with delegates travelling from as far afield as Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Scandinavia, Canada and the USA.”

The National Dairy Show booking deadline is Friday 20 June. For stall booking enquiries contact Sian Mercer on 0845 458 29711 or email sianmercer@rabdf.co.uk
