The following presentations were given by speakers at a one day conference organised by the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers, Plunkett Foundation, English Farming and Food Partnerships, and Dairy Farmers of Britain held on Tuesday 29 April at the Moat House Hotel, Stoke on Trent. The conference marked the culmination of the milk co-op's two year Scholarship Programme.

Some 120 delegates attended the conference and were drawn from the farming community, from education and training sectors, finance and Government and from the width of the dairy industry.

The presentations cover a range of relevant topics aimed at the development of farmers for a competitive industry and include speakers with experiences of other industries as well as the dairy industries in the United States and Ireland. The presentations also give an insight into the Scholarship programme.
