The Dairy Event and Livestock Show

17 June 2008

The Dairy Event and Livestock Show, Europe’s leading two day businesses to business event for the ruminant sector with more than 400 exhibitors to be staged at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on 17 and 18 September, is being promoted to British embassies of the world’s leading livestock countries by its organisers the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers.

“We are making contact with representatives from over 40 countries who are realising that the UK’s specialist events have now become the business leaders in their respective fields,” RABDF chief executive, Nick Everington explains: “The last Dairy Event attracted more than 300 overseas visitors from over 30 different countries, and our survey revealed that 53% of exhibitors reported enquiries from international contacts.”

He adds: “The expanded range of exhibitions covering all aspects of ruminant livestock production, beef, sheep, commercial goats and native breeds, as well as dairy is designed to attract more farmer visitors from abroad as well as from the UK. We are also making available to our overseas visitors group tours of UK dairy, beef and sheep farms on request.
