Business Development Manager
20 July 2009
The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers, organiser of the Dairy Event and Livestock Show, the sector’s leading business to business event, is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to sell stand space to new exhibitors and also develop RABDF’s other activities, following the Association’s recent decision to expand and move the Event to the NEC in 2010.
Based at their offices near Kenilworth and reporting to the Chief Executive, the Business Development Manager will be expected to identify and develop his/her own clients, from an existing marketing database, as well as source new clients and exploit their full sales potential. Working closely with the Events Manager and Events Coordinator, you will be part of a small dedicated team focused on developing the Event and increasing membership, as well as organising conferences, training, farm walks and open days.
The ideal candidate will have spent at least two years, successfully generating new business in a sales or telesales position. A working knowledge of the livestock industry and experience selling advertising or stand space would be beneficial.
