RABDF launches new supply sector package for The Dairy Event and Livestock Show 2008

27 May 2008

The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers has launched a new financial package specifically designed for the supply sector planning group travel to The Dairy Event and Livestock Show, the two day business to business event covering the entire ruminant sector, to be staged at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on 17 and 18 September.

"We are making available for the first time support towards the cost of coach travel for organised groups," explains RABDF chief executive, Nick Everington. "This special fund has been established to encourage companies and organisations to arrange a coach tour for their valued customers or members and is available on a first come basis until the budget has been utilized. Successful applicants will not only benefit from the maximum discount available on tickets, but also receive a contribution to the cost of coach hire."

He adds: "Exhibitors, animal health and feed merchants along with machinery dealers, breed societies and other membership organisations can all benefit from this initiative as can their customers, saving the cost of individual journeys to the event which also helps the environment."

For further details contact RABDF events co-ordinator, Laura Dickinson on 0845 4582711.
