Dairy in a Changing World

Location: Stareton Hall, Warwick Conference Centre, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire
Cost: Please contact Dairy UK for prices 020 74672644

Building on our recent highly successful Stoneleigh events, Dairy UK is again working closely with the RABDF to deliver another world class Conference and Dinner to complement this year’s Dairy Event and Livestock Show.

The global environment is changing rapidly. Markets and economies are in a state of flux. However, world demand for dairy remains strong. How can our dairy industry harness and adapt to these changes?

“Dairy in a Changing World” will bring together global dairy experts to analyse the challenges and identify the solutions faced in a changing global environment across the entire supply chain. They will share their views with us, focusing on how the sector can provide ongoing sustainable, profitable returns to producers and processors.

Industry leaders from across the globe will also feature in our afternoon’s “Question Time” open debate, chaired by Dairy UK’s Chairman, Mark Allen.

We look forward to a lively conference and debate and anticipate the conference to be of great value to industry professionals, producers, those involved in the industry supply chain, journalists and professional advisers.

The Conference will, again, be followed by a pre-Dairy Event and Livestock Show dinner at Stoneleigh for conference attendees, show exhibitors, industry colleagues and guests. The Conference and Dinner will, once again, be run hand-in-hand with the Dairy Event and Livestock Show in full partnership with the RABDF.

“Dairy in a Changing World” will be THE Conference for the dairy industry in 2009, and THE Dairy Dinner to attend!

As usual, special prices apply for Dairy UK and RABDF members, as well as Dairy Event and Livestock Show exhibitors.

Farm Open Days/Farm Walks

The RABDF Farm Open Days and Walks have proven to be a popular diary date for our members. Host farms are selected to highlight specific management techniques which have proven successful and may be of benefit to other producers. We also ensure the farms visited cover a range of breeds and species.

Held throughout the country, these open days give visitors the opportunity to view the farm as well as speak to suppliers, which much like Dairy Event and Livestock Show provides an ideal forum for information exchange. Previous open days have included visits to Gold Cup winning farms.
