RABDF/NMR Gold Cup Open Day

Registration open from 10.30 and all pre-registered visitors will receive a free bacon roll.
There will be four talk stations (repeated three times throughout the day at 12noon, 12.45 and 13.30) situated at various points around the farm covering the following topics:
Optimising milking management to minimise mastitis - Ian Ohnstad, Dairy Group
Multicut grass silage systems and increasing milk solids - Mike Bray, Kite Consulting
Succession and long term business planning - Margaret Scarrott, Evolution ABS
'Are you turning on the lights?' - Mike Halliwell, World Wire Sires
In addition to the above there will be foot trimming demonstrations taking place and the opportunity to look around the farm and speak to Roland and Simon Bugler. Should visitors wish to visit the new calf unit at Waterhouse Farm there will be an opportunity to do this later in the afternoon when leaving the open day.
