This Farm Open Day will focus on 'Training and Development' and is hosted by Robert Craig.

Programme for the day:

10.30am – Registration

11.00am - Welcome by RABDF

11.10am – Introduction by host farmer, Robert Craig

11.20am – Farm walk commences (individual talk stations situated around the farm)

  •  Cairnhead management trainee scheme with travel to NZ – Robert Craig/George Brown/Shaun Mckay
  • Requirements for a leading and sustainable future dairy industry– Mark North, Nestlé and Ian Critchley, First Milk
  • The value of knowledge transfer through discussion groups and benchmarking – Bess Jowsey, LIC Pasture to Profit Consultant
  • Opportunities and resources for further development – Adam Wardrop, SRUC (TBC)

13.15pm – Round up by host farmer

13.30pm – Lunch (complimentary for RABDF members)
