The School of Veterinary Science at the University of Liverpool offers in-depth clinical and research-based training from world-renowned experts in veterinary medicine. Professional and clinical skills are introduced from day one at our Liverpool campus and student progress to spend the final two years based at Leahurst campus is in the heart of rural Cheshire. Leahurst employs over 100 veterinary surgeons and facilities include an onsite dairy farm and onsite first opinion dairy practice. Students have a lecture free final year and spend a minimum of twelve weeks gaining experience in all aspects of production animal veterinary medicine.
