Moreton Morrell College

Moreton Morrell College is Warwickshire's land-based college, situated just a few miles south of Leamington and Warwick, set in 750 acres of countryside and farmland, yet accessible from the local towns too.

Agricultural students spend their time at Nether Moreton Farm, which is part of the college campus, learning the jobs involved with everyday farming.

The farm at Moreton Morrell College is an independent commercial unit over a 230-hectare block of land. The farm functions as an educational resource for the Agricultural and Countryside Management students and allows those students to be part of a working farm that operates in the same as any other commercial farm.

Lectures in livestock production and animal husbandry give the students a chance to learn how to handle animals and put theory into practice. The students will have the opportunity to work directly with the farm staff on a one to one basis and participate in all the daily duties to include feeding, bedding and general management of the livestock.
