Single issue policy making at European and UK levels appears to be reducing the ability of British agriculture to achieve its objective of ‘producing more from less’, according to the Agricultural Industries Confederation – the trade body for Britain’s agriculture supply industry. 

The RABDF Livestock Machinery and Equipment Award made to the product that delivers the most economic value to the livestock sector was presented to Wynnstay at the Livestock Event held at The NEC, Birmingham on 8 and 9 July.

The RABDF Prince Philip Award was presented to DeLaval for research and development in the field of dairy farming and the most practical, relevant and best technical exhibit at the Livestock Event 2015.

Neil Baker from Rushywood Farm, Haselbury Plucknett, Somerset, is the winner of the NMR RABDF Gold Cup 2015.

The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers has called for AHDB Dairy levy to be diverted to product protection and health professional education.
