This month John Taylor, herd manager at 2014 NMR/RABDF Gold Cup winners Worthy Farm in Somerset, reflects on the aftermath of the recent Glastonbury festival held on the farm.

Single issue policy making at European and UK levels appears to be reducing the ability of British agriculture to achieve its objective of ‘producing more from less’, according to the Agricultural Industries Confederation – the trade body for Britain’s agriculture supply industry.

The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers has called for AHDB Dairy levy to be diverted to product protection and health professional education.
