Harper Adams University reclaimed this year’s Dairy Student Award crown as Florence Turley was named the winner at RABDF’s Dairy-Tech event earlier this month. The runner up was Olivia Egerton from University Centre Reaseheath.

Following the success of its third event last week Dairy-Tech has now been shortlisted for the Exhibition News Awards Show Rising Star category.

The RABDF’s third Dairy-Tech event, held last week at Stoneleigh Park, saw a 10% increase in its visitor numbers and over 300 exhibitors taking stand space.

Zoetis’ CLARIFIDE® Plus heifer genomic test was crowned winner of the Royal Dairy Innovation Award at Dairy-Tech 2020.

The Sloan family from Auchinleck, Ayrshire is the winner of the 2019 NMR RABDF Gold Cup. Robert Sloan, with his parents Bryce and Anne and wife Emma, run the 180-cow Townlaw Holstein herd alongside the 60-cow Darnlaw Jersey herd that was introduced in 2016.

Dairy farmers are being encouraged to learn the true impact of UK milk production on the environment with a new leaflet being published by the RABDF.

The RABDF welcomes the latest views from the Migration Advisory Committee included in their letter to the Home Secretary earlier this week.

With less than a month until Dairy-Tech, taking place on Wednesday 5 February at Stoneleigh Park, visitors can look forward to interactive, forward-thinking speakers and a whole host of new products and innovation.
