Resilience in Adversity Women in Dairy conference speaker Oliver McEntyre

Different management styles and their impact on dairy unit performance and efficiency will be explored by Barclays National Agricultural Strategy Director, Oliver McEntyre at the Women in Dairy conference staged on 28 September at Sixways Stadium, Worcester.

He will take a look at lending parameters and how Barclays Agriculture assesses a lending proposal linking in dairy unit efficiency. Investment in infrastructure will come under the microscope, how agri-tech can assist management and give greater information and control, which in turn can add strength to any funding request, especially in a volatile market. 

Oliver will also appraise some statistical information on the differences between the top 25% performing dairy herds and the rest, from farm size to investment and input costs whilst connecting them into to cost of production and the scatter of efficiency seen across the industry.
