RABDF NMR Gold Cup winner, Neil Baker will be opening his farm gates at Haselbury Plucknett, Crewkerne on Wednesday 25 May providing all farmers with an opportunity to learn how simple management changes can bring about realistic financial gains.

Sandy Wilkie, business relationship and development director at Müller Milk & Ingredients, has been confirmed as guest speaker at this year’s Trehane Trust dinner, to be held on Tuesday 5 July – the eve of the Livestock Event – at the NEC, Birmingham. 

Pre-registration has opened for free entry to Livestock Event to be held at The NEC Birmingham on 6 and 7 July, announces its organiser, the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers.

Dairy producers will be able to find out how to make more milk from grass this coming season at the first RABDF, BGS, AHDB Dairy spring farm walk hosted by Mark Verity, at Radholme Laund Farm, Whitewell, Clitheroe on Wednesday 20 April.

2015 NMR/RABDF Gold Cup winner Neil Baker from Haselbury Plucknett in Somerset updates us on the work that needs to be done before the Gold Cup Open Day on May 25th.

Andrew Harrison, a final year student studying BSc (Hons) Agriculture with Animal Science at Harper Adams University (HAU) is the RABDF MSD Animal Health Dairy Student of the Year. He was presented with a £2,000 cash prize by MSD Animal Health and the university he represented received £1,000 towards a dairying educational project.
